Keep Going...

After finding her way to freedom, Harriet Tubman returned to the South nineteen times to guide others out of slavery. Her perseverance and complete faith in God leave me speechless.

Her full quote is as follows:
“If you hear the dogs, keep going.
If you see torches in the woods, keep going.
If there’s shouting after you, keep going.
Don’t ever stop, keep going.
If you want the taste of freedom, keep going.”

- African American Spiritual sheet music
- Pages from The Bible’s Book of Exodus
- Pages from Harriet Beecher Stowe’s Uncle Tom’s Cabin
- Acrylic paint
